My Time as a Probation & Parole Officer

Before stepping into the world of politics, I not only served as a nurse, but also a Probation & Parole Officer, an experience that forever shaped my commitment to law & order, and community. My time in uniform wasn’t long, but it was powerful. I was on the front lines, working with individuals at some of the most critical turning points in their lives, enforcing accountability while encouraging change. I saw firsthand the challenges our law enforcement officers face every day, and I met those challenges head-on.

Unfortunately, my career in law enforcement was cut short by a serious knee injury. But while I had to step away from the badge, I never stepped away from my convictions. That experience didn’t weaken me, it made me tougher, more determined, and more committed to supporting those who serve and protect.

Being a Probation & Parole Officer taught me the value of structure, and the importance of standing firm when it counts. These lessons have stayed with me ever since, and they’re exactly what I’ll carry with me to Washington.

I’ve lived the reality too many in Congress only talk about. I know what it means to serve, to protect, and to lead under pressure. And now, I’m ready to take that real-world strength to Capitol Hill, because Kentucky and America deserves a representative who’s as tough as they come. Not pretend-tough tweets like my opponent!
